The octagonal top features a spectacular geometric pattern achieved with book-matched veneers, highlighting the stunning fiddleback figure of the Blackwood timber. Set on a faceted pedestal and conforming base it epitomises the bold, clean lines of the Art Deco era. Melbourne, c.1925.
