A late 19th century French Louis XV style vitrine in rosewood and mahogany. The upper section of the door is glazed while the lower solid panel is embellished with an intricate, interlaced foliate and floral marquetry motif, framed by geometric cross-banding and an outer running floral border. The cabinet features a classic shaped profile, accented throughout with ormolu mounts, including a decorative rocaille apron piece and terminating on cabriole legs with elegant cast sabots. Presented in good detailed antique condition.
